1. What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and a hashed password (or your Google sign-in).
Study activity: questions answered, practice exam results, saved questions and progress.
Purchase records: pass type, amount and dates. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store them.
Technical data: basic logs, device and browser information, and how you arrived (for example a referral or campaign link).
Messages you send us, such as feedback or support requests.

2. How we use it

To run the Service: sign-in, progress tracking, practice exams and premium access.
To send account and transactional emails, such as receipts, password resets and pass-expiry reminders.
To send study tips and product news if you have not opted out. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
To improve questions and features, and to prevent fraud and abuse.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run MLO Prep: hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), payments (Stripe), email (Resend) and analytics. They may use it only to provide their services to us. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your settings, and cookies that record how you found us (referral or campaign links) for attribution. Analytics and advertising tools may set their own cookies.

5. Retention and security

We keep account data while your account is open and for a reasonable period after, and purchase records as long as tax and accounting rules require. We use encryption in transit and access controls to protect your data.

6. Your choices

You can update your details, unsubscribe from marketing emails, or ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing support@getmloprep.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws.

7. Children

The Service is intended for adults preparing for a professional licensing test and is not directed to children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version with its date.
