Terms of Service

MLO Prep provides original practice questions, worked explanations, timed practice exams, study notes and progress tracking mapped to the publicly available NMLS SAFE MLO Test Content Outline. The Service is for study purposes only.

Not pre-licensing education. Practice questions and mock exams only. This is not NMLS-approved pre-licensing education (PE): you still need the 20 hours of PE from an NMLS-approved course provider before you can be licensed.

MLO Prep is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (NMLS), the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS), State Regulatory Registry LLC (SRR), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau or Prometric. NMLS is a registered mark of State Regulatory Registry LLC. All practice questions are original study material; they are not actual test questions. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in passing any examination or obtaining any license.

You must give accurate information when you register and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person; sharing an account is not permitted.

Premium access is sold as a one-time pass for a fixed period (1 month, 3 months, or 12 months on the Until-you-pass pass), charged in US dollars through our payment processor, Stripe. Passes do not renew automatically. Prices are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Any taxes that apply are shown at checkout.

The questions, explanations and notes are our copyrighted work. You may use them for your own personal study. You may not copy, scrape, download in bulk, republish, resell, share screenshots of question sets publicly, or use the content to train or build another product. You may not disclose or seek actual NMLS test content, which is confidential. Do not send us questions you remember from the real test, through feedback or any other channel: we do not accept them, use them or keep them.

We work to keep content accurate and cite sources with an as-at date, but laws, regulations, program guidelines and test policies change. The Service is not legal, compliance or financial advice. You are responsible for verifying current requirements with NMLS, the CFPB, your state regulator and other official sources.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MLO Prep and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on the content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, including for scraping or account sharing. You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may update these Terms. Material changes take effect when posted with a new "last updated" date. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
